The rapper and father of three had a podcast interview with Elliot Wilson and Brian Miller on Rap Radar.

He spoke on a lot of issues about his album 4:44. In the album he addressed the issue of his mum coming out as a lesbian after four children, he spoke of how proud he was when his five-year-old daughter Blue Ivy busted some real lines on one of his tracks in the album.

Jay-Z also spoke about weed usage and his former bestie Kanye West.

When he was asked how he came out the name Sir and Rumi for his children he said “ Rumi is our favourite poet, so it was for our daughter, Sir was like came out the gate. He carries himself like that. He just came out like sir”
